The "Crappiest Promotion" for Mardi Gras Gamers

Hallandale Beach's Mardi Gras Casino started offering their players a feel of the Las Vegas strip on April 9th, 2010. The main objective of the Mardi Gras Casino's "The Crappiest Promotion" is to give 120 casino players the one-of-a kind opportunity to win up to $90,000 in bonus play. The promotion is based on the traditional craps game.

While South Florida casinos cannot legally offer craps to their players, the promotion will introduce players to the intricacies of the craps game without the possibility of losing any of their money.

In order to join the promotion, player must be a member of the Player's Club of the casino. Signing up to be a member is as easy as presenting an I.D. at the casino's relation desk. The promotion will be on each succeeding Friday in April.

There will be six drawings every hour starting at 4:45 p.m. In each hourly drawing, five Player's Club members who are present in the casino that day and used their Player's Club card will be picked to join that drawing. At the top of that particular drawing, the five chosen players will go to a 16 feet craps table that bears the logo of the promotion in the middle.

The first player is handed a pair of large purple dice. The craps player then rolls the dice and based on the outcome, either wins cash or loses the prize money for the whole group. If the initial result is seven, the group will take home $1,000. The player would then have to decide on whether to roll the pair of dice again or pass it over to the next player in their group.

The maximum number of dice rolls for each player is three. If the craps player decides to hand over the dice, the next one will make their first throw. The game will continue until all five players have had the chance to roll the dice.

At the end of the craps game, the total amount of prize money gained by the players will be credited to their accounts. But if a player rolls a two, three or twelve, they will lose all of their turn and the money that their group has managed to earn until that point.

The promotion will happen at 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m. and 10:00p.m. on April 9th, 2010, April 16th, 2010, April 16th, 2010, April 23rd, 2010 and April 30th, 2010.
