Harrahs Chester to Hire Additional Dealers for Casino Table Games

With hundreds of casino table games coming some time this year, casinos in Pennsylvania are one of the few local gaming industries that are hiring en masse. Casino facilities in Pennsylvania have hundred of jobs to offer for individuals that have lost their jobs due to the economic crisis or are looking for a career change.

The first informational session for prospective casino table games dealers were held on January 22nd, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Harrah's Chester Racetrack Casino. Harrah's officials said that they are expecting to hire three hundred new employees over the next six months to staff dozens of casino table games like craps.

Robin Roberts, the Vice President of Human Resources at Harrah's Chester said that they are very excited about the opportunity to offer casino table games and help individuals find a new career in the casino gaming industry.

A lot of interested individuals showed up during the session, like Patricia Chambers of Philadelphia, who said that she is looking for an extra work since she has been working part-time.

Robert Stinson, who lives in Trainer, said that he wants to work at the facility since it is close to home. Stinson added that with the economic crisis, every bit of income helps. Casino dealers will earn a low hourly rate, but will receive most of their salary from tips.
