The use of skill in Craps
craps is one of those games where it is usually hard to tell whether it is a game of chance or a game of skill. There are those that say that it is a game of skill, and that the way the dice are thrown and the direction of the throw is important. On the other hand, there are those say it is entirely a game of chance.
Those that say that is is a game of chance admit that certain throws can be beneficial to the throw and ultimately the craps player. However, they, say that the way the dice are thrown are only a certain factor in determining the success of the throw. This factor is not enough to give the experienced craps player any leverage over the inexperienced one.
On the other hand, there are those that say that craps is totally a game of skill. They believe that when the dice are thrown, certain rituals have to be implemented and that the dice must be thrown in a certain way and at a certain angle. This is keeping with the mystique of craps, that affirms that is a game played by means other than natural, and either you have it, or you don't.
Any way you play it, craps is a fun game to play, whether you believe it is game of chance or of skill.
